The hearth for the fireplace was “Hand Crafted” from the same
White Sandstone as the: Window Sills, Post Caps, and Building
Stone for the fireplace, chimney, and exterior Building Stone.
They are happy with their white mortar choice, as well as their
request to guillotine the White Sandstone Squares & Rec’s into
larger than normal sized pieces.
The fireplace Stone matches the chimney (below)
And the White Sandstone at the back of the house.
And the window sills and pillar caps.
Notice the heavy facia and the “Tapered White Sandstone Pillars.”
The Lightly stained Timberframe fits nicely with the White Sandstone.
