This is the back of the house. The Weatheredge Limestone Tumbled

Olde Mill Estate Blend is quarried on our quarry on Manitoulin Island,

Ontario, Canada.

The back corner, notice the wide returns on the 1″ thick thin veneer

corners.

Most of our customers using the “Weatheredge Limestone Tumbled

Olde Mill Estate Blend have been choosing to use white mortar with it.

(Above) A close up picture of a corner. Notice that the Weathered face

Ledgerock piece (second from the top on corner) has a nice deep natural

grove in it. The weathered face ledgerock (Horizontal vein) has visible

grooves, and is the vertical edge of the stone blocks. The Weathered

face pieces are the lighter colored ones and the more brilliant colors

are the split faces. This creates a unique color blend, when you use

them together.

Front corner.

Entrance to the garage with 2 strips of “Salt and Pepper Cobbles” on

the driveway. It’s interesting how different areas do things differently.

In our area of Canada… we don’t see strips like this… even though

Natural Stone Cobbles do get used here. We even produce hand made

tumbled cobbles from several colors of Local Limestone & Sandstone.

We also guillotine cobbles, as seen in this picture to half thickness, so

they are not to heavy to handle.
