Notice the two strips of “Salt & Pepper Granite Cobbles” going in the

driveway (something we don’t see here in Canada)

Gate to back yard.

When you get close to the ocean, the houses are tall. If you get flooding

from the Ocean there is no collectable insurance on the bottom floor.

They also have vents on all sides, so water can come in one side and

out the other without putting pressure on the foundation.

Very new to us high-land Canadians.

The Tumbled Olde Mill Estate Blend is a blend of Weathered Faces

and Split Faces (which creates the variety in color. This customer

desired to have the top and bottom sawn to heights that fit each other

with a 1/2″ mortar joint. This project was the 1st request for “Sawn

Height” in the is blend. We found that this blend will require a bit

more flexible, more rustic joints, but still more perfect than regular

guillotined edges. Our Dealer said that it will be ok that way.

Some of the corners have an 8-10″ return on it. Even a few wide

returns on the “L-shaped Thin Veneer Corners” gives the illusion

of “Tremendous Strength” even though they are only 1″ thick. The

Weatheredge Limestone Sawn Height Tumbled Olde Mill Estate Blend

is quarried on our Quarry on “Manitoulin Island, Ontario, Canada.”

The “Outdoor Fireplace”

Notice the 8-10″ return on the Thin Veneer Corner, (left side – close to

the top of the fireplace opening). Looking at the corners like this some

people think the stone is 1 to 2 1/2′ thick (like they built them 250

years ago. It makes me feel good that we can create an illusion so

impression with “Thin Veneer” that is only 1″ thick. Many people can

hardly believe it is possible with Thin Veneer.
