The dormers on top of the roof have matching thin veneer to avoid needing added support to the roof.
This customer chose the Weatheredge Limestone Northern Collection. The Northern Collection Series is sawn to 5″, 6″, and 11 1/2″ heights. He wanted the stone to have a split face and didn’t want it to be tumbled. He also wanted some of the golds taken out, so that he would get a higher percentage of the blue/grey. Also notice we did 45 degree returns on the special corners, which avoided one long vertical mortar joint. This not only looks stronger, but is stronger.
Added blue/grey in the stone blends so well with their other colors.
They chose not to have extended quoin corners, but used 4″ x 6″ matching Weatheredge Limestone window sills from our quarry.
The back sloped to two stories of Weatheredge Limestone.
