This customer chose a light colored stone and mortar which contrasts with the dark surroundings. They desired Squares and Rectangles (bed face) and Lederock (vein face, and also some “Weathered face Ledgerock”.
We were asked (by the customer) to provide more low rise heights than we normally do, to suit their taste.
This fireplace, from floor to ceiling, makes quite a statement.
Our customer also desired more rustic, flush mortar joints, giving a more aged appearance.
