Sometimes our customers desire a Ontario, Canada, split fieldstone blend with an existing Split Fieldstone house.
We made the “Rock Faced” Weatheredge Limestone steps for this property as well.
The close-up picture shows the color variation we chose, so the new stone blends well with the existing house.
To match the existing stonework in this setting we guillotined the fieldstone into square and rectangular shapes, compared to matching some projects, need random (Mosaic) shapes, or a blend of both.

There is amazing woodwork inside and outside this home, with most being original especially on the interior. There was even a rope and pulley to lower the chandelier above the stairs for lighting the lamps. I had never seen that before.
