2nd from the bottom. Even though this is a full bed project with the
normal limitation of a 4″ return, we cut some “L-Shaped full bed
corners” for them, giving a structural appeal. This customer is so
happy that we encouraged them to allow us to do this for them.
They didn’t realize this would even be an option. They were so
happy to allow us to dream up things that most people don’t
realize is possible.
Our customer appreciated that we encouraged them to allow us to
hand make thicker sills than the standard 2 1/4″ sill they planned
on. Now that the sills are laid… they understand how much nicer
they are. They thanked me… I told them that they had me worried
when they were leaning toward a 2 1/4″ sill. Thin sills look out of
place beside chunky pieces of real stone… and they asked us to
guillotine the White Sandstone Squares & Rec’s “Nice and Big”.
We made the sills out of the same Matching White Sandstone.
