We were asked to provide and install numerous Ottawa Valley Blends in the Collingwood ON area. Our stone looked so good in the hills, valleys and mountains of the area. After the first house, the orders kept coming.

Logs, wood and stone always compliment each other. Notice the fanned soldier courses above the windows are taller in the centers, and lower at the edges.

Notice the extended “Quoin Corners” have the bed face exposed, which gives a different texture and makes them stand out more. Some of them have rustic ends (which was our customers choice). The window sills are 4″ thick and made from Weatheredge Limestone, and have a hand chiseled front edge.

This project was approximately half Weatheredge Limestone Ledgerock and half Ottawa Valley Limestone (ledgerock and bed face). Both were tumbled. We find that when you blend two or more kinds of stone, tumbling ties them all together well.

Beautiful home with amazing scenery. The pictures only show a fraction of the nice view you would see looking out of the windows.
