What a project… with the “Weatheredge Limestone” from our
Quarry on Manitoulin Island shown all over. Examples:
(a) the sawn top (bush hammered) bridge to match the
flagstone and steps, (b) the large Weathered Cliffside Stone
(up to 14′ long) with some “L-Shaped corners (up to 13′ long),
(c) Weathered Face Armour stone like the 17′ long piece on
the photo, (d) the Weathered face sills and lintels on the building,
(e) the moongate, and (f) the Weathered face steps and flagstone
on the interior and exterior.

We have had a lot of fun sending products and pieces that
the contractors and owners had no idea that they would be
anywhere close to possible. It was fun watching the emails
after they saw a picture of some of the amazing pieces we
quarried and shaped for them. One time they wanted one
more load, and I took pictures of two or three loads so they
could choose… they couldn’t resist what they saw and
doubled their order. It was amazing stone.

An amazing project.

In the picture above: Notice the “Moon Gate” (round opening
with wedge shaped pieces of Weatheredge Limestone) on the
left side of the picture. What an amazing entrance to a
“Cliffside Building”. Each piece was angle-cut on our automatic
wire saw and are 25″ tall and 4 1/2′ long. Both ends of each
piece is hand Rock-Faced with a 2″ bulge in the middle.
Anyone with “Hand Chiseling Experience” understands the
effort and bulging muscles it takes to reach the
middle of a 25″ piece.
Notice the Adirondack Mountains in the background.

Creek and pond construction.

The amazing Cliffside Building built onto the house.
The Stone Masons are real “Craftsmen” on this project.
Notice the extremely tight mortar joints they created with
Natural edge pieces. The weathered natural face on our
“Weatheredge Limestone” achieved the “Cliffside Wall” they wanted.

Ponds, creeks, and waterfalls are all over this property
including one starting on top of the roof. The rooftop of the
Cliffside building is fully landscaped.
What a project!
