No these ancient looking gems are not in Rome but in Kleinburg, ON Canada.

They have no laying pattern, giving a very old appearance.

The tumbled surface rounds the edges giving the appearance of being

worn by hundreds of years of wear from horses and steel tired wagons.

No they are not 1000 years old… but freshly made to look old.

We also make brick or other patterns that can be laid in rows.

Some customers prefer a fan design.

This customer ordered “roughly squared pieces ranging in size from

3 to 5 in. by 3 to 5 in.”

We created a nice color blend for them. A different customer blended

four colors – black, grey, brown, and buff, to suit their taste, and

had requested larger sizes ranging from 3 by 4 in. to 4 by 9 in.

Close up.

This pic was taken from the upstairs window.

When our employees heard that this driveway is heated… they

mentioned that they want to see it when there’s snow beside the dry

cobbles, so off we went to see it. I will admit that I wanted to see it as well.

It was fun for us all to see the finished project and very rewarding.

The same customer asked us to make gray sandstone cobbles for their

porch, (watch for that article) its amazing.
