As each section of this older home gets remodelled, it really freshens the appearance. The natural stone adds charm and beauty and blends well with the other new colors. The present owner would have visited his grandfather at this location as a young boy, and would remember 55 years of changes and improvements, some of which he did. Since he is a stone mason and did learn the trade from us, he was able to lay the stone himself.

This Harvest Gold Limestone project has the stone sawn to heights that fit each other with 1/2″ joints. The heights are 2 1/4″, 5″, 7 3/4″ and 10 1/2″. After these slabs were sawn to height it was tumbled for this project.

There are numerous shades of gold, beige and browns in the “dimpled” bed face of the Harvest Gold Limestone.

Tumbling the Sawn Height Building Stone softens even the sawn edges. The indent with a window sill created extra depth for a plant.

Tumbling natural stone always softens the edges in any kind of stone.
