This customer chose Sturgeon River Black Granite door sills with a
flamed top and matching flamed front edge. As black trim has become
popular… the black sills followed.
The pic above shows flamed surfaces and is laid with Weathered Face
Collingwood Brown Sandstone, compared to the pic below has a
Rock-faced (chiseled) front edge and flamed top and is used with
our #35 Split Fieldstone Blend.

The Timothy’s Blend Splitface Ledgerock – These sills look amazing
with many shapes and colors of both full-bed building stone as well
as Thin Veneer.
The picture below shows how nice sills look when they step up between
windows, rather than a continuous running skirt. Many of our customers
are going with this new design. (after they find out it’s a possibility)
