The 4″ thick Elite Blue Granite Chimney Cap finished the Midnight Black Ledgerock Chimney nicely. Our zoom boom was able to lift the one piece cap into place… which was much nicer than man wrestling it. The cap has a hand chiseled rocked edge and a drip cut.
The Midnight Black is a nice dark colored stone even with gray mortar. The overall appearance gets much darker when a dark black mortar is used.
We are happy to have this Midnight Black Ledgerock chimney 1/4 mile down the road from our shop. Our customer enjoys the stone chimney so much we are welcome to bring customers to see it.
The sunset shining against the Midnight Black Ledgerock lightens the color.
