This article shows several steps in the process of a good quality Natural Stone Thin Veneer project. Notice how the Stone Masons precisely fit the pieces well. They also kept the stone very clean while filling the Mortar Joints. We recommend using plastic grout bags for this purpose because of the good mortar control they offer. We offer these plastic grout bags, if they are not available in your area. Note: grout bags are for clean mortar placement, but still require packing with a slicker when partly set.
Keeping Stone clean upon installation… requires much less cleaning upon completion.
