The Elite Blue Granite Sawn Height Northern Collection is a stone mason’s dream for high speed laying and profitability. The top and bottom of each piece is sawn to heights that always fit each other with a 1/2″ mortar joint. Imagine getting paid to lay 2 sq.ft. when you lay 1 pc. of 11 1/2″ height.
During Construction
The 5″ height and 6″ height rows get laid in alternating layers with the desired percentage of 11 1/2″ jumpers laid every row. The Northern Collection size makes the finished project look chunky and strong since the lowest piece is 5″ height. If an even chunkier appearance is desired you increase the amount of 11 1/2″ height pieces.

The Elite Blue Granite Sawn Height Northern Collection was also used on the exterior of this home. Our sawn height building stone is also available in many different colors. Sometimes our “Midnight Black” is added to blends to darken the wall.
