Talk about a beautiful view from indoor and hair raising
experience working on this chimney.
Beautiful settings are often very tense for the Stone Masons.
Notice the chimney above the roof had to be finished first
so the roof could be completed early. In the picture below
the mason is getting close to finishing under the roof.
In the pic below you get a birds eye view of the scaffold
and the lake below. The mason said… if the scaffold tips…
he will take a big jump for the lake. He didn’t say if he
was serious or joking.
Notice that the mason is far above the treetops below.
The Weathered Face Collingwood Brown Sandstone used
on this project, is a blend of Rustic Squares & Rec’s and Random.
There were some “Oversized Pieces” used on this project.
Its a beautiful natural stone chimney from the “Lake View”.
Yes the chimney is finished and nobody had to jump for the lake.
