“Tumbled Harvest Gold Limestone” gives such an original, aged appearance, which is often sought after today. Notice that the stone mason used flush mortar joints which added visual age.

One time one of our dealers phoned and asked if we have ever had efflorescence problems with our stone. We had never heard of this before and upon asking more questions, I found out our stone had been delivered to a “hot springs area” where the water is loaded with minerals. I talked to the “Stone Mason” and told him not to use local water to wash the walls or it just adds more minerals and adds to the efflorescence problem. He hauled in clean (mineral free) water… washed the efflorescence off, and the problem was solved. What a sigh of relief. We have never had that problem before or after but thought writing this might be helpful to one of our readers.

Beautiful sunset setting.
